the complexities of our legal system for the first time.

Our legal
system is separated into Criminal and Civil. Criminal involves
crimes to be prosecuted by the state and Civil cases are to
resolve matters between individuals.

Civil cases involve both Civil Law and Common Law. Civil law
are codified rules and regulations while Common Law follows
case history to develop a series of precedents that are followed,
but not truly codified. |
